ㄴ 세계 최대 규모의 던전? 중 하나. 일반적인 던전들과는 발생원인이나 세부특성에서 궤를 달리하지만 몬스터가 생성되고 내부에 몬스터가 생성되고 에너지가 존재한다는 공통점 때문에 던전 중 하나로 분류되었다.

ㄴ 현실세계의 바깥쪽에 해당하는 이계. 쉴 새 없이 마력의 격류가 휘몰아치며 그에 따라 현 시대의 마법과 기술로는 규명이 불가능한 다양한 이상현상이 발생하고 있다.

ㄴ 이곳에서 생성되는 몬스터는 위습,살아 움직이는 소용돌이처럼 불안정한 영체 형태가 주를 이루며 태어나봤자 얼마 안가 자멸하거나 자기들도 이상현상에 휩쓸려 죽어버리는 경우가 대부분이다.

ㄴ 초월자들이 현세에 직접적으로 개입하는 데 거리낌이 없었던 먼 옛날,세계의 혼을 조작하는 드래곤들과 그외 영령,페어리를 비롯해 세계에 영향을 줄 수 있는 강자 여럿이 한데 모여 전력을 꺼내며 부딪힌 사건이 있었다.
세계 전체에 영향을 끼치는 스킬들이 끊임없이 충돌하여 모순이 발생하고 상쇄되고 덮어씌워지면서 해당 지역의 공간에 충격이 누적되기 시작했고, 전투가 심화될 무렵 끝내 세계에 '균열'이 발생했다고 한다.

ㄴ이후 균열을 향해 마력이 흘러들어가면서 균열이 '구멍'으로 확장되며 더욱 폭발적인 마력의 누출과 이상현상들이 발생, 고룡을 포함해 현장에 있던 초월급 존재 상당수가 치명상을 입거나 몇몇은 아예 구멍으로 빨려들어가 영영 돌아오지 못하는 대참사가 발생했다.

ㄴ 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 많은 초월자들이 힘을 모아봤지만 과도한 마법으로 세계에 문제가 생긴 케이스이기에 세계를 수정하는 마법으로는 구멍을 완전히 없애는게 본질적으로 불가능했고 규모를 최대한 억누르고 결계등을 이용해 추가적인 확장을 저지하고 계속 감시하는 선에서 마무리되었다.

ㄴ 이 사건의 여파가 워낙 거대해 이후 초월자들이 알아서 힘조절을 하거나 권속이나 부하를 이용해 간접적으로 활동할 뿐 현계에서 직접적인 전력충돌을 꺼리게 하는 큰 원인 중 하나가 되었다고 한다.

ㄴ 극도로 위험한 환경,존재할 가능성이 거의 없을 보상 등 일반적인 던전과 비교하면 공략의 리턴이 없는 폐급 던전이지만 방치할 경우 던전 브레이크,즉 균열의 추가적인 확장이 발생할 가능성이 있기 때문에 프리렌의 제자들,로고스의 불,모험가 길드 등 세계의 수많은 집단들이 협력해 정찰과 관리를 시도하고있다.
